Foreword

Because of different articles and statements it came partly to a wrong idea of the bloodgroup database.

• With the database we like to inform about the bloodgroup incompatibility and call upon the breeders to test their cats, so that the death of kittens of a bloodgroup incompatibility could prevent.
   
• The database didn't serve to find the suitable partner (male) with bloodgroup B – because of the small part of bloogroup B Cats in the NFOs it's scarcely possible (1- 5 %)
   
• The database aid for the static registration, to give a clear statement about the B-cats in the NFOs in the future and to show in which lines you find the bloogroup B cats.
   
• 99% of the listmembers wouldn't breed with Type B cats – because the bloodgroup B in the Norwegian Forest Cats is still small and the bottle-feeding isn't without problems and you need experience too.

• The articles/informations abou the bloodgroup incompatibility are for breeders of all breeds. In this way we point out the search for the suitable male, because in other breeds you will find the bloodgroup B much more then in our Norwegian Forest Cats
   

At last each breeder must decide for himself which way he like to go. The database should only give a advice and informations, without making rules.
